Who we are
EquiRevive American Cryo was founded by Amanda Draper, a Nevada-raised hand with a deep-rooted love for the western lifestyle and the animals that make it possible. At just 22 years old, Amanda spends her time roping, cowboying, and enjoying life with her family, horses, and dogs.
Through her own experiences in the performance and ranching world, Amanda discovered a passion for cryotherapy and its powerful benefits for recovery and wellness. That passion quickly turned into purpose. She dedicated her time to becoming certified in cryotherapy so she could provide safe, effective recovery services for both humans and animals.
At EquiRevive American Cryo, Amanda combines hands-on experience, education, and genuine care to support recovery, performance, and overall well-being for every client—two-legged or four.
What is Cryotherapy?
Cryotherapy is a non-medical, wellness-based therapy that uses controlled cold temperatures to support the body’s natural recovery processes. By rapidly cooling targeted areas of the body, cryotherapy helps reduce heat, calm overworked tissues, and encourage healthy circulation.
Cryotherapy does not treat or diagnose medical conditions. Instead, it is used as a supportive wellness tool for recovery, comfort, and performance in both humans and horses.
How Cryotherapy Works
When cold is applied to the body:
Blood vessels temporarily constrict (vasoconstriction)
The body responds by increasing circulation once the area rewarms
This process helps flush tissues, support oxygen delivery, and promote recovery
Cryotherapy is commonly used before or after activity, during heavy training periods, or as part of routine maintenance.
